1. Who we are

The Site is operated by Online Systems Inc, 15657 N Hayden Rd #1158, Scottsdale, AZ 85260 (“we,” “us”). Our website address is https://canadapharmacyreview.com. Questions or requests: sales@onlinesystemsinc.com.

2. Information we collect

Reviews

• The name or display name you enter, your email address, star rating, review title, and review text
• Your IP address, browser user agent, and the date and time of submission (used for spam and fraud prevention)

Pharmacy submissions

• Pharmacy name, website, type, and country, what you used it for, and your description of your experience
• Your email address if you are not signed in. We create a basic site account linked to that email so your submission can be associated with you.

Accounts

Username, email address, and an encrypted (hashed) password. If you sign in, WordPress sets login cookies (see Cookies below).

Technical information

Like most websites, our servers record standard log data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps for security and troubleshooting.

Health-related information

Our forms do not ask for your medications or medical conditions. Reviews and submissions can still reveal health information if you include it in free text, so please do not post prescription numbers, insurance IDs, photos of labels, or other personal health details. We may remove such details during moderation under our Review Policy.

3. How we use information

• To publish, moderate, and display reviews and pharmacy listings
• To verify reviewers’ email addresses and to contact you about your review or submission
• To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse, and to keep the Site secure
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Site, and to comply with legal obligations

We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a trustworthy directory, on your consent where required (for example, for non-essential cookies), and on performance of a contract where you create an account.

4. Email verification and email delivery

When you submit a review, we email you a verification link to confirm that you control the email address. Until it is verified and approved by a moderator, the review is not published. Pharmacy submissions are not email-verified; they are held as pending until a moderator checks them.

The Site sends email (verification links, notices about your submission, and account emails) through IONOS SMTP servers using the WP Mail SMTP plugin. IONOS processes your email address and the message content to deliver these emails.

5. Spam protection

We use automated spam filtering on our own server, such as rate limits and screening of submitted text for prohibited content (for example, controlled-substance solicitations). Submissions that fail these checks may be rejected or held for review. If we add a third-party spam-protection service, we will update this policy.

6. Avatars

Reviews may show an avatar. To check whether you have one, an anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. If no Gravatar exists, we show your initials instead.

7. Cookies

• Login cookies: if you sign in, WordPress sets cookies to keep you signed in and remember screen choices. Login cookies last two days (two weeks if you choose “Remember Me”); screen-option cookies last up to a year. Signing out removes the login cookies.
• “Recommend” button: to prevent duplicate votes, we may store a cookie or a record tied to your IP address or account when you recommend a listing.

8. Affiliate links and cookies

Some links on the Site (for example, links under a /go/ path) are affiliate links to US-legal partners such as discount-card or telehealth services. When you click one, the partner or its affiliate network may set cookies or use similar technologies on its own site to record that you came from us, so we can be paid a commission if you sign up or buy. Those cookies are controlled by the partner or network under their own privacy policies, and attribution periods vary by program. We describe these relationships in How we make money. We do not place affiliate links to Canadian or other foreign pharmacies.

9. Embedded content from other websites

Pages may include embedded content (for example, videos or maps). Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other website, which may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with that content.

10. Who we share information with

• Service providers who host the Site and deliver email for us (IONOS)
• Gravatar, as described above, for review avatars
• Affiliate partners and networks, only through their own cookies when you choose to click an affiliate link
• Authorities or others when required by law, or to protect the safety, rights, or integrity of the Site and its users (for example, to address illegal controlled-substance solicitations)

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell review content as a standalone product. Your published review (display name, rating, and text) is visible to the public.

11. How long we keep information

• Published reviews and pharmacy submissions are kept while they remain published, or until they are removed under our policies or at your valid request.
• Account and contact data (such as your email address) is deleted 24 months after your last activity on the Site, or sooner on request.
• Rejected or spam submissions and server logs are kept no longer than 24 months.

12. Your rights and requests

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to or limit certain processing and to appeal our decision. Email sales@onlinesystemsinc.com with enough detail to locate your data (the email you used, approximate date, and pharmacy name). We may need to verify your identity. Deletion does not include data we must keep for legal, security, or administrative purposes.

13. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

14. Where data is processed

Our servers are located in the United States. If you use the Site from outside the US, your information will be processed in the US.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
